What's included

One order, supervised end to end

Everything in the Supplier Check, plus the on-site work — carried out by qualified inspectors under our supervision — that catches problems while the goods are still in China and the supplier can still fix them.

1

Business licence & registration verification

We check the supplier's business licence against the Chinese government's company registry and confirm the company is legally registered, active, and that the registration number is valid. You receive the verified registration details and a clear statement of legal standing — so you know the entity you are paying actually exists and can be held to account.

2

Manufacturer vs. trading company check

We read the scope of business on the licence and compare it with the supplier's claims. Where the picture is unclear, we ask follow-up questions in Chinese. You receive a plain-English determination of whether this is a factory that makes the goods or an intermediary reselling them — and what that means for your price and your leverage.

3

Credit & blacklist screening

We review the company's public credit record — annual reports, tax status, ongoing court cases, and government or industry blacklists — and report what we find, in writing, including how recent it is. This is background context, not a reliability judgement; the point is to surface problems before you pay, not after.

4

Certification verification with issuer

If the supplier presents ISO 9001, BSCI or other certificates, we identify the issuing body and confirm with it — or its public registry — that the certificate is genuine, current, and issued to this company for a relevant scope. You receive a per-certificate result. We do not certify anything ourselves; we check whether the supplier's claims hold up.

5

On-site factory visit with photo & video documentation

A qualified inspector travels to the factory and walks the production floor, under our supervision. They confirm the facility matches what was presented to you, look at the lines relevant to your order, and document the visit with dated photos and video. You receive our reviewed visit report showing where your goods are actually made. This is the single most effective way to catch a supplier who presents one factory online and produces elsewhere — and to confirm capacity exists before you commit.

6

EU compliance document compilation

We identify which EU regulations and standards apply to your product, then collect the supplier's test reports and technical documents and check whether they cover your exact model. Where documents are missing or mismatched, we request the right ones from the supplier in Chinese, and compile what we gather into an organised file. Note: the legal responsibility for compliance stays with you, the importer. We structure and support the process; we do not sign off on conformity and we do not provide legal services.

7

Final random inspection (AQL)

When the order is finished and packed, a qualified inspector examines a statistically valid sample using AQL sampling, under our supervision. Workmanship, specifications, quantity, packaging and labelling are checked against your order and the agreed criteria. You receive our reviewed pass/fail report with photos of any defects, typically within 1–2 working days after the inspection. This is your last chance to catch problems while the goods are still in China and the supplier can still correct them.

8

Loading supervision

The loading of the checked goods into the container is supervised by a qualified inspector under our supervision — confirming the right goods, in the right quantity, go into the right container, and that seals are applied. You receive our reviewed loading report with container and seal numbers. This guards against substitution between a passed inspection and the container leaving.

9

Detailed risk-assessment report

At the end of the engagement you receive a full report tying every stage together: registration, on-site findings, compliance status, inspection result, and loading. Findings are written in English with evidence attached. The report is built to support your decisions — not to reassure you. We highlight what we could and could not verify.

Honest scope

What this does not cover

Order Control supervises one order. It does not do everything.

  • Sourcing new suppliers — available in Full Supervision.
  • Pre-production and during-production inspections — available in Full Supervision.
  • Negotiation of price and terms with the supplier.
  • Drafting or reviewing contracts.
  • Freight forwarding or customs brokerage — we supervise on your behalf; we are not an importer or customs agent.
  • Legal advice. We verify and report; we do not provide legal services and do not assume responsibility for the supplier's performance or your import compliance.
How it works

Planned around your order's milestones

1

Briefing & planning

We align on the order, inspection criteria and timeline around the supplier's production schedule.

2

Supplier verification

We run registry, credit and certification checks before you commit to the order.

3

On-site execution

Factory visit, compliance document collection, final inspection and loading — timed to the order's milestones.

4

Report & handover

You receive a report at each milestone and a consolidated report at the end.
